First India Website Design Company have created many user-friendly eCommerce sites for clients. Here are a few challenges that we came across while dealing with eCommerce catalog and products.
Case Study 1: • Overview:
One of our client is in the retail business. They offer a gamut of products at a very competitive price under one roof with stellar customer support. From the past four years, they managed to build a strong customer base by offering all kinds of products that are needed for the customers. With the growing business, they want to make the shopping experience of the customers more incredible and want to revamp the eCommerce website. The client requirement was to upload the products in the right category to let the customers find the products without any kind of hassle. Moreover, the client’s wants to enhance the color of the product photos, post automatic data feeds on the Google product search and monitor the pricing.
There are many challenges in this project with stringent deadlines and monitoring the price for each project was a biggest challenge. Ideally, the client sells different varieties of product, so their unique features and categorizing them would be a little challenging. Prior to putting them under one category, we have to thoroughly understand about the product. Moreover, editing the photos of each product is a convoluted task. We need to change the colors and portray the product in a visually appealing way. Moreover, we would need to add products to the product data feeds in Search engines product search.
We have formed a strong team to successfully complete this challenge. The team has handled the photo editing, categorizing the products, uploaded products on Google product search and other price monitoring tasks. Moreover, we have handled the eCommerce catalog processing duties of our clients. By optimally utilizing the knowledge and experience of each resource, we have successfully categorized each product and were able to put them under the right category. To boost the project speed and keep the errors at bay, we have showed the sample work to our clients. Only after receiving the approval from the client end, we had gone ahead and finished the rest of the project.
With our solution, the client was able to upload the products under respective categories before their counterparts. In a couple of months after this implementation, the client noticed a surge in the traffic and sales like never before. Now, the client has more than 20,000 products and are giving a great online experience for its customers.
Case Study 2: • Overview:
The client is an Indian based online plumbing products store. The client sells shower heads, bath tubs, kitchen taps, sinks, and other plumbing accessories of various brands at a very competitive price under one umbrella. We have gathered the product information for each product from the manufacturer website, catalogs, supplier website and other reliable sources. To garner the attention of the customers, the client has insisted us to improve the product photo quality, create catchy product description for each product, and write unique Meta tags. It was really a laborious process to classify the products, as there were thousands of products.
There are many challenges that we encountered while handing this project. However, with our dedicated team of designers and developers, we were able to finish the project within the given timeline by our clients. It was tough to find the keyword for each project and writing unique and catch description for each product. Moreover, gathering information from the manufactures website was time-consuming. Also, we wrote all the features of the products without missing any. We had processed high quality products in a few months successfully. We have resized, tagged, and uploaded thousands of product images to the website. It was very challenging for us to categorize the products. We do not want the client to lose a single customer because of wrong categorization. So, we invested a lot of time in categorizing thousands of products meticulously.
Before instigating the project, we did a sample work of this project and showed it to the client. After getting a node from the client end, then we went further to finish the project. Our professionals have uploaded the products onto the website along with description under the right category. Also, we have prolific writers to write the product descriptions without leaving any room for errors.
We have assisted the clients in managing the products in an organized manner without messing up the website. This has improved their sales and in fact is grabbing the attention of the buyers to their ecommerce store. Our experienced team has also provided the price of competitor’s products to our clients to make price adjustment regularly.
Case Study 3: • Overview:
One of the leading electrical equipment manufacturer in the market creates purchase orders manually. So, they were looking for a solution that allow the client to order the product online.
Basically, it is not possible for the supplier to sell the electrical equipment that are used in the power stations to all the customers due to certain restrictions in the industry. So, it is crucial for the website to work in a different manner for different group of users as per their logins. In addition, a multi-tier quoting process should also be included in the website. Also, the manufacturer has an old website, but he wants that to be upgraded with HTML pages and a web catalog.
Our expert web designing and development team has used latest web technologies to create a brand new website equipped with the suggested functionality. The user roles are also defined on the website. So, not all the customers can buy the products. There are a few products that can only be ordered online. This has given ample liberty for the manufacturer to create different customer and product groups giving different privileges for each. However, the customer can view the product description along with the price on the website. Moreover, customers can also check whether or not the product is available on the website.
This customized website has made the ordering process smooth and a piece of cake. This has eventually increased the return on investment of the company.
